The short version
wordēē is free, has no accounts, no advertising, and no tracking cookies. Anything you type stays in your browser until you generate a story, and we don't sell or share your information.
Cookies
wordēē does not set tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies on your device. We do not use third-party analytics or marketing pixels.
For the site to function we may use a small amount of browser storage (such as localStorage) for technical essentials. These are not used for tracking and are not shared with anyone.
What we collect
When you generate a story, the text you enter (theme, optional child's name, optional description) is sent to our backend so an AI model can write the story and, if requested, a coloring page. Generated stories are returned to your browser and are not saved to a user profile.
To prevent abuse and keep the service free, we store a one-way-hashed version of your IP address along with a daily count of generations. We do not store your raw IP address, name, email, or any data you type into the form beyond what's needed to fulfill that single request.
Children's privacy
wordēē is designed for parents and educators to use with children. It is not intended for children to create accounts or submit personal information directly. Please do not enter information about a child that you wouldn't want shared with the AI model that generates the story.
Third parties
Story and illustration generation is powered by AI model providers accessed through Lovable's AI gateway. The text you submit is passed to those providers solely to produce your story or image. We do not give them your IP address or any identifying information.
